Design Show Australia

Design Show Australia returned to ICC Sydney on 10–13 June 2026, and Turbo 360 was on the floor to capture it all. Organised by National Media, this flagship event for Australia's architecture and design community filled the Darling Harbour convention centre with exhibitors, specifiers, and design enthusiasts for three packed days — and this year it came with something new.

About the event

Design Show Australia is the country's premier platform for launching contemporary products to market. Presented by National Media, it draws together manufacturers, distributors, architects, interior designers, and key decision-makers searching for what's next in interiors, materials, lighting, and furniture.

This edition was notable for being part of Design & Build Week 2026 — a three-show event bringing together Design Show Australia, the Kitchen+Bath Show, and a brand-new addition: Futurebuild Australia. Futurebuild made its Sydney debut at ICC Sydney, focusing on the products, technologies, and ideas shaping the future of design, construction, and sustainable development. As a new show making its first appearance, having strong visual assets for future marketing was a real priority.

What we covered

National Media trusted Turbo 360 to photograph the full event, with a particular focus on Futurebuild Australia. Because this was Futurebuild's inaugural Sydney edition, the brief was clear: capture images that would stand the test of time — timeless, versatile photography that could be used to showcase and market the show for years to come.

What we delivered

We delivered same-day photography to National Media — edited, polished images available on the day of the shoot. For a new show like Futurebuild, where the team is already thinking about next year's campaign before the doors close, having high-quality imagery in hand immediately is genuinely valuable.

The images we produce for National Media aren't just event snapshots. They're marketing assets built to attract exhibitors, sponsors, and visitors to future editions. Getting that right on the first year of a new show matters.

Our relationship with National Media

This gig is part of an ongoing partnership. Turbo 360 is trusted by National Media to capture photography across their shows throughout Australia. It's the kind of relationship built on consistency and reliability — turning up with the right skills, reading a busy show floor quickly, and delivering images that do real work for the client.

Working a new show for the first time carries its own responsibility, and we take that seriously. The goal is always the same: make the next edition easier to sell.
