Digital Health Festival

Turbo 360 provided photography and video production for the Digital Health Festival 2026 at MCEC Melbourne, delivering same-day content for Terrapinn's 8,000-person event.

Digital Health Festival

On 21 May 2026, Turbo 360 was on the floor at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for the Digital Health Festival — one of the most high-energy events in the Australian healthcare calendar. Produced by global events company Terrapinn, this wasn't a standard trade expo. The name says it all: it's a festival, and it runs like one.

About the Digital Health Festival

The Digital Health Festival is Australia's largest digital health event, bringing together more than 8,000 senior health executives, clinicians, innovators and decision-makers for two days at MCEC. The 2026 edition featured over 400 speakers across 11 theatres of content and more than 300 exhibitors, covering topics spanning AI, virtual care, electronic medical records and digital transformation. Alongside the conference programme sat a dedicated Startup Arena — billed as the largest meeting of the healthtech startup community in Australia — where 125 early-stage companies ran live demos on the festival floor. It's a format designed for movement, energy and connection, and it genuinely delivers on that promise.

What We Covered

Terrapinn brought Turbo 360 on board to capture the full scope of the festival across its second day. With an event this size, that means being everywhere at once — keynotes, panel sessions, busy exhibition aisles, sponsor activations and the social events winding up the day.

Our crew of five covered it all:

Exhibitor stands ranged from clinical technology to interactive experiences — the HPA racing simulator was hard to walk past.

The brief required us to be nimble. An 8,000-person event across 11 theatres and hundreds of exhibitor stands doesn't sit still, and the festival format means moments happen fast and without warning — a performance on the exhibition floor, a spontaneous conversation that becomes the best shot of the day, a speaker wrapping to a standing ovation. Our photographers know how to read a room and be ready.

Expert panels ran across multiple theatres simultaneously — capturing the right moments required our team to be across the whole venue.

What We Delivered

Same-day delivery was the brief, and same-day delivery is what Terrapinn got. Having a dedicated editor embedded with the crew meant that as our photographers and videographers were still shooting, the best content was already being selected, processed and prepared for handover. By the time the last session wrapped and the networking function was winding down, the client had polished photo and video assets ready to use.

For an event organiser like Terrapinn, getting content out quickly matters. Post-event recaps, social posts and sponsor deliverables all benefit from having usable content in hand the same evening — not days later.

Working a festival rather than a traditional conference keeps the whole crew on their toes, and that's exactly what we're here for. If you've got a large-scale event coming up and need a photography and video team that can deliver on the day, we'd love to hear from you. Get in touch with the Turbo 360 team.
