On 17 June 2026, Turbo 360 headed into the heart of Melbourne to live-stream a very special internal event for Red Cross Lifeblood — an inclusion and comedy afternoon featuring one of Australia's sharpest stand-up comedians, Lizzy Hoo.
About the event
Red Cross Lifeblood is Australia's national blood and biological products service — a not-for-profit organisation that employs around 3,700 people across scientific, clinical and support roles, processing well over a million blood donations every year. With staff spread across donor centres, laboratories and offices right around the country, bringing the whole team together in one room simply isn't possible. This event was designed to bridge that gap: a live inclusion session anchored by comedian Lizzy Hoo, streamed simultaneously to every Lifeblood location across Australia.
Lizzy Hoo is one of the most in-demand live performers in the country right now — a stand-up comedian, writer and presenter familiar to audiences from TV appearances on Have You Been Paying Attention?, The Cheap Seats and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Galas. She is also a sought-after corporate MC and comedian, making her a natural fit for an event that wanted to be both engaging and inclusive.
What we covered
