On Saturday 13 June 2026, the Turbo 360 team was on the ground at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins for the Monash Children's Hospital Shine Gala — the Monash Health Foundation's signature annual fundraising event. It was a black-tie evening with a purpose, and we were proud to capture every moment of it.
About the Event
The Shine Gala is hosted each year by the Monash Health Foundation to raise funds for Monash Children's Hospital, which has been caring for children for more than 100 years and is one of Australia's leading children's hospitals, part of Monash Health — Victoria's largest public health service.
The 2026 edition moved to the elegant Sofitel Melbourne on Collins in the CBD, and the cause was deeply meaningful. The evening raised funds to support children born with a cleft lip and/or palate — a congenital condition that can affect a baby's ability to feed, speak and hear. These children often face long-term, complex treatment journeys involving multiple surgeries and ongoing care throughout childhood. The result? The inspiring evening raised more than $600,000 for Monash Children's Hospital, supporting the life-changing care provided by their Cleft and Craniofacial Anomalies Service for young patients and their families.
What We Covered
Turbo 360 was engaged by Monash Health to handle two key areas of coverage across the night:
- Media wall photography. As guests arrived in their black-tie best, we worked the branded media wall — capturing clean, well-lit portraits of attendees against the Shine Gala step-and-repeat backdrop. With a wall full of sponsors and the Monash Children's Hospital branding front and centre, positioning and consistency mattered. We made sure every shot was frame-ready.
- Highlights video production. Our videography team covered the full arc of the evening — arrivals, the room atmosphere, live auction action, entertainment, and the emotional moments that make a gala like this worth documenting. The goal was a highlights reel that captured not just what happened, but why it mattered.
What We Delivered
