When the public sector's biggest technology gathering rolls into the capital, a single day on the floor can produce a full year of marketing content. That was exactly the brief at the Tech in Government Expo, held at the National Convention Centre Canberra, where Turbo 360 delivered same day photo and video coverage for event organiser Terrapinn.
Tech in Gov is a heavyweight on the government ICT calendar. Technology in Government is Australia's premier event tailored for government IT professionals and executive leaders, set to take place at the National Convention Centre in Canberra. It is a leading annual event for government Information and Communications Technology and executive professionals, focused on the digital transformation of the public sector, and it gives senior public and private sector IT experts a platform to learn, network and source ICT solutions.
The scale is significant. Around 3,000 attendees were expected, including CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, ICT Directors and Digital Transformation Heads from Federal, State and Local Government departments and critical infrastructure sectors. The event featured a lineup of 150 expert speakers and 130 industry exhibitors. Sessions ran across seven conference tracks, spanning Cyber Security, AI & Automation, Service Delivery, Quantum, Gov eCommerce, Critical Infrastructure and Data & Analytics.
What we covered
Turbo 360 sent a compact, efficient crew of two to capture the energy of day one across the whole venue. From keynote moments on the main stage to candid conversations at the exhibitor stands, our team moved through the space to document the event as it unfolded.
