Turbo 360 covered the Workplace Health and Safety Show at MCEC Melbourne for National Media, delivering photography and video production with full same-day image turnaround.

On 21 May 2026, Turbo 360 headed to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) to cover the Workplace Health and Safety Show for our client, National Media. One of Australia's largest free-to-attend trade events dedicated to health, safety and workplace wellbeing, the WHS Show brings together thousands of safety professionals, suppliers and industry leaders under one roof — and this year's Melbourne edition was no exception.
About the Event
Organised by National Media, the Workplace Health and Safety Show is described as Australia's largest free-to-attend exhibition and conference dedicated to occupational health, safety and workforce wellbeing. The Melbourne 2026 edition ran across two days at MCEC — a venue that spans 70,000 square metres and sits among the largest convention and exhibition spaces in the Southern Hemisphere. The show draws professionals from manufacturing, construction, mining, government, healthcare, transport and beyond, all looking for practical solutions to keep their people safe.
From live product demonstrations on the exhibition floor to packed knowledge sessions and the Champions of Safety Awards, there was no shortage of activity to capture across the venue.
What We Covered
Turbo 360 provided both photography and video production services across the full day. With an event this size — multiple seminar stages, a sprawling exhibition floor and awards ceremonies — our team needed to move efficiently and cover a wide range of moments without missing a beat.
Our coverage included:
- Exhibition floor photography, capturing exhibitor stands, product demonstrations and delegate interactions
- Speaker and stage photography at the Knowledge Hub sessions
- Video production across key moments throughout the day
- Awards ceremony coverage, including the Champions of Safety Awards
- Candid and editorial-style imagery of attendees and networking moments
What We Delivered
National Media needed imagery they could use straight away — and that's exactly what we delivered. A dedicated editor was on site throughout the day, working through photos in real time so the entire library could be turned around before the event wrapped up. Every image was delivered the same day.
Same-day delivery at this scale takes planning. Having an on-site editor means the client isn't waiting days for a post-production turnaround — they walk away with ready-to-use content while the event is still fresh. For a show like the WHS Show, where social media momentum and post-event communications matter, that speed makes a real difference.
It was a full-on day at one of Melbourne's biggest venues, and the Turbo 360 team delivered. Big thanks to National Media for having us along for the Melbourne edition of the WHS Show.
